I am late to this post, but I loved it. Finding compassion is the key. I think for the modern day that is how we realize our goals and, at least, live in a less vicious climate.

Whats the difference between a neo (lower case n)-Nazi and a regular Nazi? I have always wondered. Don't they have the same philosophy - just a different time?

Yep! Neo just means new, current, contemporary. Same philosophy. I have seen Romper Stomper--Russell Crowe maybe 1989? Trippy. Ever seen American History X? That's actually based on my client.

I don’t know if I could re-watch American History X again but how can I not remember. You believe this man achieved an epiphany and I find that compelling, though hard to grasp.

His story is fascinating. Very complex. His memoir is worth a read.

Thank you Michael. Powerful. Biting. And weird. Just about perfect. Thank you. I love it that it all came/comes, back to love. I too came to that conclusion. Very powerful.

Thank you!!! And yes: Exactly. Christian (ex-Nazi) always said the best way to combat racism and bad ideas is via compassion. You're much more likely to win by gaining their trust and slowly deconstructing their bad ideology versus mudslinging. He was right. Of course, this is incredibly hard to do. He was perfect because he came from that grotesque ideology. He knew exactly how to understand and gain trust. From there, he dismantled.
