Michael,

All of us here are holding you

in your time of sorrow.

Your Dad is beautiful.

And your love for him is eternal.

You give your heart to us

in every word you write.

Yeah, you write with your own blood.

Your courage and your loving words

fortify us to live.

May you go on living brave and good.

And Death Shall Have No Dominion.

Micheal, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I lost my father many years ago. I always say I am glad I only had one father to lose, I couldn't do it twice.

Sorry to hear this, Michael. Everyone takes on this experience differently, but we writers at least get to memorialize people in our writing.

This is eerily similar to how my dad passed two years ago. We thought he was going, but then we got another five weeks with him and we were so thankful for that time. Sorry for your loss, Michael
