Curious to know if you and Britney (happy birthday btw) used a travel agency or other resources to find lodging/restaurants/make travel connections? Is it fairly easy to navigate on one's own? And in Britney's opinion, would a solo female traveler feel safe?
Britney says: No travel agency; she is our unofficial agent :) She prefers Air bb out of the country because they give you a more unique experience (unless resorts are more your thing). Flights within Thailand are very cheap. Trains are also efficient and easy. Female solo traveler in Thailand is also totally doable! The locals here are extremely friendly.
Michael, I am really enjoying reading about your adventures. I loved Thailand when I was there in 2013. The food, culture, locals, travelers, everything was just amazing.

Thank you!
Happy Birthday to Britney! This was a joy to read, Michael. Thanks for sharing.

Yes: it's incredible! Very different from Morocco where we went in October!
