**I’ve written extensively about my teens, especially in my autobiographical novel, THE CREW, which you can buy here. I’ve also published many pieces (stories and essays) about my lurid, sordid, alcohol-soaked twenties. What I haven’t written a ton about (some but not a ton) and definitely not in book form, are my childhood years.
I am currently reading Leo Tolstoy’s brilliant autobiographical trilogy, Childhood, Boyhood, Youth (published between 1852-1857) and it’s inspiring me to delve back into my own childhood years. These would be the years between my birth in 1982 and my freshman year of high school (right before The Crew gets going), in 1999.
I was thinking I’d write the book in real time, meaning each week or two I’d pen a chapter. Is that something ya’ll would enjoy reading? I’d probably do a mix of free and paid, maybe free the first few chapters and then a portion free after that with the rest paid. Something like that.
